Where the prices come from

Totals are estimates, and your store's prices will differ.

How we estimate

Item prices come from public price data where available (US: Bureau of Labor Statistics and USDA; UK: Office for National Statistics). Where that data has no match, we use our own estimate. Your store's prices will be different, and pantry basics like oil, salt and spices aren't in the total. Each total comes with a range, set using Open Prices data (Open Food Facts, ODbL). Questions

What does it cost?

Building your plan and seeing it is free. The full plan, with a new plan every week, is $39.99 a year or $9.99 a month, tax included. There's no free trial: you see your real plan before you pay, and every payment has a 14-day money-back promise.

Can't I just ask a chatbot?

You can, and it's great for ideas. Dinner Plan does the part a chat leaves to you: every amount on your list matches the recipes, packs are sized for real stores, the total is priced before you go, and with the weekly plan, next week's plan appears on its own, before you shop.

Do I need a card to see my plan?

No. Answer the questions and your whole week appears, with its estimated total. You only pay if you want the full plan.

How do I cancel?

Any time, at link.com, from your plan page or by email. There's no minimum term, and your plans stay until the end of the period you've paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If the plan doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days and we'll refund you. See the refund policy.

Are the photos of real dishes?

They're images made for each recipe from its ingredient list and checked against it, so the dish you see is the one the recipe makes. They aren't photos of a dish we cooked.

More questions
How often do dinners repeat?

The planner draws on 900+ recipes and remembers what you've had, so with most answers 8 weeks go by without the same dinner. If your choices narrow the list, your plan tells you when repeats begin. On the tightest budgets, a few of the cheapest dinners can come back after 3 weeks, or sooner if your choices also narrow the list.

Can each person have their own diet?

One plan follows one set of choices. Pick the diet the whole table follows, for example vegetarian, and leave out any food someone won't eat. Separate choices for each person aren't available yet.

Is it worth paying for?

See your week first and decide then. Each plan is built to fit the budget you set, with an estimated total before you shop. We don't promise a set saving.

Where is it available?

United States and United Kingdom only, for now.

Is this diet or health advice?

No. It's a dinner and shopping plan, not nutrition or medical advice. If you have an allergy or coeliac disease, check every label: some products have gluten-free and standard versions.

Who takes my payment?

Link, Stripe's merchant of record, sells your order on our behalf: it takes the payment on Stripe's secure checkout, includes any tax in the price, and emails your receipt. It shows on your statement as LINK.COM followed by our name.
